I am a beaded jewelry artist living in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I began making jewelry as a high school student while I was working part time at a bead store in Freeport, Maine. Being surrounded by gorgeous beads was truly inspiring, so I began to experiment with techniques and materials. In the process, I've developed my unique style which features bright hues and bold color combinations. Though I enjoy bright, cheerful colors, I also relish the challenge of creating art with neutrals and more subdued tones. Working with colorful beads has influenced my other art forms as well. I enjoy painting rich, bold, abstract watercolors and glazing my pottery with intense colors.
My work ranges from easily wearable strung pieces to large and intense pieces for more bold wearers. I find great joy in creating intricate works of wearable art from tiny beads and infinite stitches. For me, it's a form of meditation.
